Join us on farm ride of the countryside, easy gentle riding through jungle trails along the Mopan River and open Savannah on a cattle farm.

Perfect for any rider: first timers, novice, experienced.

Enjoy of the historical country side once enjoyed by our ancient people - the Maya, who lived and thrived in this land, now our Juan Family Farm.

Farm Ride is a trail riding tour on our family farm. You will be met at your hotel in San Ignacio town and brought to our St Leonard's stable, where you will ride on open savannah, jungle trail & riverside trails, on gentle terrain (perfect for first time rider or any other person who doesn't ride very often)

FARM TOUR options 7:30am pickup in town 7am or 715am OUT OF TOWN

2pm or 230pm pickup in town

FULL price includes: pickup & drop off, riding helmets, farm ride, water & energy bar.

WEIGHT LIMIT 260 lbs per rider.

ATTIRE recommended: comfortable long pants, plenty of sunscreen or long sleeve shirt, small backpack for your essentials.

FARM ride + Xunantunich tour

this tour combo takes you on our Farm ride, approx 1.5 - 2.5hrs (depending on your pace and comfort) followed by a short drive to Xunantunich maya site where you get to enjoy a guide tour of the site, climb EL Castillo.

At the end of your tour our guide takes you back to your accommodation in San Ignacio town

We really enjoyed our horseback ride to Xunantunich. Miguel did a great job of taking care of us on the trip over and then on the tour. He has sharp eyes and was able to point out monkeys and toucans. We had people between first time rider to experienced and everyone was satisfied with their horse.

This excursion was the highlight of our trip to Belize! Jose was the best guide from the time he picked us up at our Airbnb to the end of the trip. He was full of energy and so knowledgeable. We didn’t just tube through the caves, we got out of our tubes to explore and jump from rocks into the water. I would highly recommend this trip!

This was the 1st tour we booked with St. Leonard's when we arrived in Belize. My father ended up coming in late due to a flight cancelation and they were more than willing to move our tour to the next day.... which was such a relief. Miguel and Mark did a fantastic job helping everyone with the horses. It was my son's first time but the guys made it so easy for him the whole way. When we got to the Mayan ruins, Miguel and Mark were very knowledgeable about everything. It was at that point I realized we booked with the best tour company. I even went online to see if I could book other tours with them for the week. Even though it is hot in Belize and you see several people in the pictures wearing shorts, I would skip the shorts and wear pants. My daughter wore the longer biker shorts and she said the saddle was still rubbing her inner thighs. It's not unbearable to wear the shorts, but it would be more enjoyable to wear the longer pants. Aside from that, I can't think of anything else that would make this tour better. We didn't even need the bug spray that we bought. It truly was a fantastic experience.

Planning a trip is never easy. Especially when you have never been to the county. I am so glad I booked with St. Leonard's tours. Carla and Mary made the cave tubing experience so enjoyable. Carla is very knowledgeable and the stories she tells are memorable. My husband continues to tell her stories every time he tells people about the cave exploration tour. As we were moving past other tour guides from other companies, I noticed that they weren't telling as much information about the different areas of the caves. That was when I realized we had the best tour company. If we decide to go back, St. Leonard's will be the 1st place I call to book tours.
